Does my 2012 toyota tundra WITHOUT towing package still have the behind dash wiring needed to hook up add a brake controller or will all new wirew have to be added? Thanks.

If there is a round 7-way trailer connector at the rear of your 2012 Toyota Tundra all you would need to install the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195 would be the correct harness part # 3040-P.
If not, then you would need to hardwire the controller.
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # HM11141835.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
