Question:
I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra. It has a 4 flat plug on the rear for trailer lights hitch so I bought a 7 prong round to convert that plug, the question is it still needs to connect the blue, white ground, black auxiliary constant, purple. I looked under truck only see I can plug for the lights but not for the rest. But despite that under the dash by the emergency brake is see the adapter for brake harness. I would like to see if there was a harness for just the rear to hookup the rest to the front so that the electric brakes work without splicing anything besides the rear of the truck plug wires I addressed earlier. Also the best brake controller for it.

We have never found any factory wiring on the rear of a 2012 Toyota Tundra that came from the factory with a 4-way flat. I have linked an installation video near the bottom of the page we did on a 2009 that shows a similar setup as yours where we had to run additional Wiring # 5506 to the 7-Way # 37185 so we could install a brake controller # 90195. For your truck to have the cleanest look I recommend using the Redarc # RED52VR that you can mount with the Panel # 331-TPSI-002 into one of the blank covers on your dash.
