Will this part work on a 2016 Sorento with a backup camera? It is a EX V6

My contact at Curt Manufacturing tells me that their # C56332 trailer wiring harness is compatible with a 2016 Kia Sorento with a back-up camera as long as the vehicle is equipped with the tow package. If your Sorento isn't equipped with the tow package, you'll need to use a different wiring harness, part # C56256. This harness is also compatible with the back-up camera.

If you click the provided link, you can see an install video showing both wiring harness being installed on a Sorento. The procedure on your 2016 model would be similar.

If you're not sure whether or not Sorento is equipped with the tow package, your Kia dealer should be able to run your VIN and figure out how it was equipped.
