Question:
Is a 1/2inch impact driver needed to remove and install the bolts on your hitch? Do not now one have everything else and wonder what suggestions you might have regarding install tools. A mechanic friend will allow me to use one of his lifts to install the hitch and wiring harness on a 2015 Grand Caravan. Thank you.

Your friend's automobile lift will certainly make your hitch installation easier and less grimy. You could use an impact wrench for initial tightening of the fasteners but this is not absolutely necessary.
All of the hitches we offer for your 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan can be seen by clicking on the link provided for you. All include the required installation hardware and each one's instructions will indicate the specific tools required for mounting it. Those instructions can be found in PDF file format on each item's page.
For example, hitch # 13364 requires 13mm, 15mm and 18mm drive sockets and ratchet along with a utility knife, screwdriver and torque wrench. These particular instructions are linked for your reference.
All hitches will require various basic hand tools and a torque wrench. The torque wrench IS absolutely necessary to ensure the fasteners are tightened to the specs noted in the hitch instructions. A hitch can deliver its rated performance ONLY when installed exactly as per the manufacturer's instructions.
