Question:

Im researching a hitch for my 2013 VW Beetle Convertible with a spoiler. I see that the curt hitch C11354 will work for my type car. Is this a hidden hitch and do you have a recommendation on the best type of bike rack to mount on the hitch where it doesnt come in contact with the vehicle and still be able to use the trunk while mounted.

Curt trailer hitch part C11354 is a fit for your 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. I have included a photo of the hitch on a similar Beetle so you can see that the hitch is fairly well hidden under the vehicle.

For bike racks you will be limited to 2 bikes on a Class I hitch. I recommend the swagman Trailhead # S63365 rack

Curt also says that you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using their hitch with non-trailer loads such as bike racks or cargo carriers.
