Question:

I know this is a preference question. How ever is there a avantage to the dual mirror or will i feel its a distraction having 3 viewing fields

I recommend the larger single mirror like the # KS3891. A mirror like the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror, part # KS3891, has a large face single mirror that measures 7-3/4 inches tall x 5-1/8 inches wide.

A mirror like part # 11953 has the dual mirrors like you mentioned. The intent of the smaller mirror is to provide a spot mirror that is designed to help you when passing or changing lanes.

I feel as you do that a having dual mirrors could prove to be a distraction and I would go with the larger single mirror.
