Question:

Yakima seems to not recommend the heavy duty shocks for the 66inch trailer is this due to overloading the weight limit on the trailer, or is there some reason it wouldnt fit/work as long as you stayed below 250lbs?

You can use the heavy duty shocks # Y08110 on a 66 inch rack and roll trailer part # Y08106, but the heavy duty shocks are not recommended to be used on the 66 inch trailer as-is.

To use the HD shocks, the trailer needs to be upgraded to 78 inches with the # Y08111 kit.
