Will Straight-Through MagnaFlow Muffler be Loud on 2009 Smart Car

I have a 09 smart fortwo passion and I am going to have the exhaust system replaced and the folks at smart madness said to make it a 2in pipe. I was wondering how much noise this muffler will make if I have it installed on my smart car. I am looking to get the engine to breathe better with out a lot of noise inside the car. Please help and advice me on this venture.

A straight through muffler like part # MF10434 will produce a smooth deep growl because there are no baffles inside to reduce the noise. The exhaust will flow straight through. If you have ever had the exhaust off a vehicle forward of the muffler or catalytic converter, then it will be about as loud.
If you are not looking for loud then this is not the muffler for you. You will want a more traditional muffler with baffles such as # MF12909. This will give the deep tone MagnaFlow is known for without being overbearing.
To get the right size you will need to measure the length of your existing muffler, how it is designed (offset inlet/outlets, one in, two out and so on) and the inlet/outlet diameters.
