Tow Bar Lighting Recommendation for a 2005 Chevy Colorado

Question:

i have a 2005 Chevy Colorado and would like to use this wiring system when I tow it behind my motor home. My question is will I still be able to use my current 4 wire flat plug when I tow my boat behind the Colorado?

Trailer wiring cannot be used in reverse to power the taillights it is connected to for tow bar lighting.

You will need to go with a tow bar lighting like the part # HM56109. This will plug inline with your current taillight harnesses (most likely like your current trailer wiring), and will work to power the taillights while your 2005 Chevy Colorado is being flat towed.
