Question:
I have a 1997 2-door Ford F250 HD. It has LT 235 85 R16 MandS tires that need replacement. They are 10-ply tires. I rarely carry anything extremely heavy in the bed. The tires seem so rigid that I just about get my teeth knocked out on even small to moderate bumps. The truck has fairly new shocks front and back. Is there a lighter less plys? tire available that will not break my teeth on the next winter of potholes?

I am sure there are some tires that you could use but the tires that we carry would not work since they are designed for trailer use only.
Another possible solution is to change the suspension or add suspension enhancement. Using Timbren springs, # TFR150SDE for 2-wheel drive or # TFR250SDE for 4-wheel drive, will lessen the travel in the stock suspension and take the bite out of bumps and pot holes. I have linked videos showing installations of each.
