Replacement Velcro Strips for a TruXedo Tonneau Cover on a 2008 Ford F-250

Question:
2008 Ford F250 with an 8 ft box and a Tuxedo cover The velcro strips on my cover now are about 1-5/16 inches wide and it moves around in the track but this one says it is 1-1/4 inches wide. My concern is that the new one will not be wide enough to stay in the track without popping out when the cover is down. Will it be ok?

Expert Reply:
The difference between 1-1/4 inches and 1-5/16 inches is 1/16 of an inch, certainly within the margin of error that can result when measuring. Even using digital or dial calipers, the flexibility of the material can skew the measurement.
If you have a TruXedo Lo Pro QT tonneau cover then # TX1115173 is going to be correct. If you have a Different model TruXedo tonneau cover, let me know what it is and I can verify the correct replacement part.
