Question:
When I took rack off my car last fall, one of rubber fit kit pieces was frozen on to roof. When I pulled on the foot, the foot broke, leaving the grid like piece that fits into the fit kit piece attached to the fit kit piece. Looks like two curved pieces of plastic that allow it to articulate snapped off. Is this repairable, or do I need to purchase a new foot?

Expert Reply:
You are going to need a new foot. There isn't a repair kit available. For a single Thule Rapid Traverse foot use # 7522249001. I recommend inspecting all of the other feet and fit kit parts to see if anything else is in need of replacing.
