Question:

I watched the installation video of the B&W 1313 for a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 quad cab long bed, but was wondering, what do you do different, when you have aftermarket airbags installed? My airbag brackets are on the side of the frame rail, right where the BandW side plates mount.

The side plates of the gooseneck trailer hitch # BWGNRK1313 will mount on the outside of each frame rail. See diagram to the right and video (start it at 7 minutes and 30 seconds).

You could choose to spring for a new suspension kit for your 2004 Dodge Ram pickup to avoid any issues. I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57295 because they will mount underneath your frame rails. They will provide your Dodge Ram with up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling support. Also, the brackets mount just to the bottoms of the frame rails so there would be no interference.

I also recommend using Red Loctite Threadlocker # LT37420 on all bolts during installation. As a result, will prevent unwanted loosening of bolts and nuts.
