How Much Lift to Expect from Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on 2006 Ford F-350

Updated 02/27/2015 | Published 02/26/2015

Question:

Are these compatible with a 06 f350 single cab- long bed? Im going to install these air springs on a f350 that sits to the back when empty, worse so when pulling a trailer. How many inches can these springs lift the rear end to make the vehicle level? Is it possible to connect the two airlines together so the airbags always fill equally and simultaneously.? Is drilling required?

I spoke with my contact at Firestone and he said Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F2400, are not designed to lift a vehicle, but to help reduce sag when under a load. If your truck is sagging without a load you might want to have your suspension inspected by a mechanic.

You can connect two airlines together. To do this you will want a T fitting, the Union Tee for 1/4" Tubing # F3025-1.

No drilling is required to install these helper springs.
