Question:
What is the recommended draw bar for a 2005 Prius?
asked by: Dave
Expert Reply:
The correct draw bar for your 2005 Toyota Prius will depend on the trailer hitch that you have installed. All of the trailer hitches available for your vehicle are Class I rated hitches. Trailer hitch manufacturers recommend using the draw bar that was specifically tested with their hitch.
For example, if you have the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, # C11468, installed, then the draw bar that you will want is part # C45521. If you have the Draw-Tite Class I Hitch, # 24808, then you will want part # 3593.
