What is the Towing Capacity for a 2007 Chevy Suburban 1500 LTZ 4×4 5.3 Liter

Hello, I have a question about what can my surburban can pull, I have a 24 ft. cargo trailer that weighs 3600 # with 5200 # axles, so Im guess my trailor can hold over 10,000# but can my surburban pull that much weight, Im confused

First, the trailer should have a sticker or plate on the front of the frame or tongue somewhere that lists its capacity. that is the capacity you will need to go by for the trailer. You are likely correct that it will a capacity over 10,000 pounds but you will still want to be sure.

I checked the owners manual for the 2007 Chevy Suburban 5.3 liter. For a 1500 4x4 with 3.73 rear end the maximum capacity is 6,700 pounds. With 4.10 rear end it is 7,700 pounds.

For an extended model with 3.73 rear end it is 7,000 pounds. And extended models with 4.10 rear end top out at 8,000 pounds.
