Question:
I have a 2002 coleman Utah pop-up. the rear bumper is a 4 inch by 2 inch Cinch shaped steel bumper, not a closed tube. will the Curt C19101 hitch work on this style bumper?

Expert Reply:
According to my Curt Representative, their # C19101 has not been tested on a C-channel bumper. When they tested it on a tube bumper, it was found to have a 3500 towing 350 lb tongue weight capacity. Since it hasn't been tested for the use you are proposing, the weight capacity would be completely unknown, which is why Curt doesn't recommend it.
Depending on how far apart the frame members of the pop-up are, measured outside to outside, you might be able to use a multi-fit hitch like # C13701 for frame members between 18-51 inches apart.
If you'd care to reply telling me the outside to outside dimension of your frame members, I'd be happy to make some more specific suggestions.
