Front Mount Hitch Receiver for a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali
Updated 02/09/2015 | Published 02/08/2015 >
Question:
I noticed that one of your hitches for this vehicle will not fit Denali models. Do you have one available that will fit the Denali? Does it require trimming the lower air dam, or can the air dam be pushed up? The front of the vehicle is low to the ground. Have you had any complaints about the height of the hitch, and hitting obstructions in normal use? Thank you!

I spoke with my contact over at Curt and he said that front mount receiver # C31071 will fit your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali. The air dam may need to be trimmed for the hitch to fit. We haven't had anyone complain about the ground clearance but the receiver will be under the front fascia so it is possible that it could make contact with the ground at severe enough inclines.
The Draw-Tite hitch, # 65068, will not fit because the receiver is mounted higher up on the cross member compared to the Curt hitch. Because of the different front fascia of the Denali models the Draw-Tite hitch would not work with out extensive trimming.
