I have a wille driftboat and the gunwale measures 2-1/4inch including the rubber protective strip. the info says for 2inch gunwales. Will these still work?

The BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Gunwale Tie-Down Straps # IMF14221 are designed to fit 2 inch wide or less gunwales. If the rubber protective strip on yours can compress enough that the gunwales are less than 2 inches in width these would work. Otherwise they would be too small.
