Yes the 34 inch frame indicates (usually) a cab and chassis model truck. For a regular pickup version of your 1997 GMC C/K 2500 I have included a link to the hitches that will fit. The most popular option is # C14081. It is rated for 1,000 pounds tongue weight and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight. When using weight distribution it is rated for 1,200 pounds tongue weight and 12,000 pounds gross trailer weight. I have linked a video showing how it installs.
It sounds like you have everything else but just in case I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It comes with a ball mount with a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop, 2 balls, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
If you need to add trailer wiring you can use # 118315 to add a 4-Way flat.
