Question:
My 2015 ram 2500 is about 3" taller than my 2008 was. So I need clearance for the truck bed. If I just lower the gooseneck it will ride on the back tires. Im trying to lift my sundowner three-horse aluminum slant load about three inches at least.is this something I can do and what parts will I need to buy?

Expert Reply:
If your Sundowner horse trailer currently has double-eye leaf springs that are located underneath the axle, you could use an over-under conversion kit to raise the ride height of your trailer. Using this kit moves the leaf springs on the trailer to the top of the axle and increases the ride height of your trailer by the diameter of the axle.
For a 3" axle you'll need part # K71-385-00.
For a 2-3/8" axle you'll need part # K71-384-00.
