Question:

I have a rwb lil rocker with rails and universal mounting brackets. What do i need to install this in my 07 dodge 3500 hd with overload springs 8 foot bed. it looks like there is a hole already in the frame for the rear mount and i dont need anything but the universal mount for the front. but would the custom one piece bracket work better. what do i need to do it right??? please help thanks

Expert Reply:

Custom fit brackets do work better in a sense. The installation time is reduced dramatically because custom fit brackets uses as many factory holes as possible so most of the time you do not have to drill any new holes in the truck frame. Part # C16419 will not fit your Ram 3500, those brackets are meant for Ram 1500.

For your 2007 Ram 3500 w/ Overload, you would use Curt part # C16420. We also recommend matching the brackets to the rails. It ensures that the holes in the rails will line up properly with the brackets. The Curt rails are part # C16204 or C16104, depending on whether or not you want flat black or gloss black. The rails will fit your RBW Lil Rocker.
