Question:
Looking at the photos, it appears that there is a gap between the cover and the tailgate. Can you confirm that it seals where it meets the tailgate?

The Access Toolbox Edition Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # 834532000814 does have an Element weather seal behind the toolbox and a reinforced vinyl flap at the tailgate to help seal the outside elements from getting in the truck bed. It's not a waterproof seal though so it won't keep absolutely everything out of the truck bed.
The gap you see in the picture is just the shadow of the cover over the top of the tailgate.
