Question:

I was looking at the hitchless bike rack. You show a 2012 equinox. I just got a 2015 equinox and I wanted to know if this bike rack will fit my suv as well! Thank you for your reply

The 2012 and 2015 model years of Chevrolet's Equinox SUV are both part of the vehicle's second generation and therefore according to Thule their Trunk Mount Passage 2 Bike Carrier # TH910XT that you referenced will fit both model years. For reference I have linked at right an installation video showing this carrier in use on a vehicle similar to your Equinox.

Thule also offers a 3-bike version of the Passage, part # TH911XT, which is identical except for its higher carrying capacity. Even if you have only 2 bikes to transport a larger carrier offers the advantage of providing you with more room for your bikes and can make loading them a bit easier.

If you will be transporting kids bikes, a woman's step-through frame bike or any that lacks a horizontal top tube you may benefit from using what's called an adapter bar. Many are offered but I suggest the Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 since it is the lowest-cost among them. This simple device attaches between the seat and handlebar posts to provide a level mounting surface to mate with the carrier's arms and helps maintain safe ground clearance at the wheels.
