How to Properly Measure for Cut-Out Dimension
There are two main dimensions you need to know when choosing a replacement speaker or adding a new speaker or speakers to your audio setup:
The cut-out diameter is the width of the circle needed to ensure the speaker mounts flush to the wall or ceiling.
The mounting depth is the depth needed behind the mounting surface for the speaker's frame and magnet structure to fit.

Ordered this pair of speakers to replace what had been on our Jayco travel trailer exterior. Easy to swap out with the old speakers, as the positive/negative slide-on connection is labeled well on the speaker. Sound quality is excellent for the price point - especially with our Jensen radio in the trailer. We're grateful these speakers were a quality, affordable option!

These speakers are holding up great! They are exposed to a saltwater environment regularly and get splashed when washing the boat but after a year they still sound as good as the day I installed them. When your running you can crank them up with minimal noticeable distortion. I'd buy them again.
Delivered very fast and speakers look good. Only problem, body is to large to fit in hole. I will keep as I’m sure they will come in handy on another project.

Delivery was better than promised. Speakers work. They fit the opening well. My screws measured 5 1/2 inches apart and these dropped right in and no new holes.

Speakers are working well
The speakers worked great very clear sound even when i played them real loud my rv is in another state,i go there every month, last month tnat i went found out somebody took them but i will order them again i really like them

Exactly what I ordered and the exterior speakers work like a charm! Now I can listen to The 50’s Music ( Best music ever made ) while I’m working outside around my RV.

Still working like a charm!
If you are looking for a good replacement speaker that sounds decent, buy these. If you are looking for a speaker that handles a lot of power and are loud and crystal clear, you will have to spend a lot more money.
I’ve installed the speakers and they sound great! etrailer delivered them quickly and I will shop here again.

The speakers sound great. The hole in my Kodiak was a little small so we had to sand the hole about 1/32 large.
Doesn't fit! This item was supposed to be a match for our trailer, now we have to pay for return shipping. Disappointed.

The speaker requires a rough opening of 4-3/8 inches in diameter by 1-1/2 inches deep as stated in the product description. What's the measurements of your rough opening?

The speakers were good but there were no mounting screws and mounting gasket which should automatically come with the speakers. I was very disappointed with that.

Jensen bills these as replacement speakers, so their assumption is that you'd reuse the existing gasket and hardware.
Purchased these speakers to replace the original speakers on our RV. Easy installation and sound so much better than the original speakers.
