Are Jensen Marine Speakers # MS5006WR UV Resistant

Question:

Hello, our travel trailer came with the Quest Marine speaker white, which has become brittle and yellowed over the years. I am looking to replace these with a little better speaker. I am looking at the MS5006WR. Is this Jensen speaker UV treated? I do not want to have yellow speakers after 2 years, just to replace them again. Thank you for any information you can provide.

The Jensen Marine Speakers # MS5006WR referenced in your question do feature a durable plastic construction that is UV resistant (ASTM D4329 UV Exposure Standard Compliant) so they won't experience the kind of color change you had with your existing speakers. The construction also creates a waterproof unit so these are true "rain or shine" speakers.
