Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our lock kit for the etrailer or Demco tow bars. Now folks, this is going to fit a 2-inch hitch and these are keyed alike. So with this kit, you're gonna secure your tow bar to the base plate and then also that hitch receiver to prevent theft or accidental disconnect. So you're gonna have two shorter, smaller ones and these are gonna be the tow bar locks. They have a 1/2-inch thick pin here.

The inside span on these is 2-1/8-inches, and these two are exactly the same size. And then you have a hitch pin lock, which would be on the RV side, 5/8-inch thick pin, standard size, and this one has a 2-5/8-inch span as far as that. Overall length of this longer one is 6-inches. Overall length of the short one, 5-1/2-inches. Now these are keyed alike and if you have other etrailer locks already with a certain key number you can select to get these keyed alike to that at the purchase.

So make sure you check that whenever you add it to the cart. Simply to put the key in. These spin just like this. Put it back through the hitch, spin it back, lock it in place, put the rubber cover over, protect it from dust and everything. Same thing with the tow bar ones, same key, same concept.

Just spin it and then put it back through the tow bar and the base plate and now everything's locked up. So minimum cost to protect your investment. As we all know, base plates, tow bars, that whole flat tow system can get quite an investment in your wallet, so you definitely wanna protect it. It's easy to do with some high-quality locks like the etrailer ones here. Well folks, then we'll wrap up our quick look together.
