Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this black RV refrigerator roof vent. This is going to install on the roof of your RV. It's gonna help keep your RV a little bit cooler by allowing the heat generated by your refrigerator to escape up through your roof. This will install in a 23 3/4 inch long by 6 3/4 inch wide cutouts over top of your refrigerator.
And because heat rises, that is going to just naturally allow the heat to come up from your refrigerator out through the ceiling, so that the heat is going to dissipate from the inside of your RV. You can see this is gonna come with both the base and the cover. The base has this quarter inch wire screen here to help keep out pests. This will be installed from the inside of your RV, going up. You will need a few screws to get this mounted in place.
And then on top of your RV, you'll have the cover here that will fit down in there. You also need four screws to get this mounted onto the base. But this is going to help prevent any rain or moisture from getting down into your RV when the cover is in place. Now, this is the black option. We do also have a white option available if that would better match your color schemes on your RV's roof, other appliances and things that you have up there.

The part we ordered for our camper was exactly as the original. It arrived within a few days and the price was significantly lower than the camper dealerships part and service. We definitely will order from etrailer.com again if a need would arise.
Direct replacement for the original. I am replacing the roof on my older American Dream DP and swapping everything on the roof over to new. Fast shipping and great communication from E-Trailer!

One year follow up and the vent is still in like new condition without any issues.
Opted for the Blue 1000lb Sumo's w/spacer over the 1500lb Black ones. 1500 Silverado Max Tow & reduces squatting by 2" on a 1000lb+ tongue weight. Ride is still good, but you can feel the Sumo's engage over large dips or bumps which is not an issue for me.
The produce arrived a day early and appears to be just what I need. I do wish I had read the description more closely so that I was aware of the lack of mounting screws. My fault entirely as it is mentioned in the description.
The package arrive for local delivery on Saturday at 5 AM. There was no reason why UPS could not deliver it on Saturday or even Monday. They let it sit and waited until today late afternoon to deliver it very poor service on UPS part.
This was a perfect fit to replace the cap on the roof vent that broke and flew off. Very easy install and has held up great so far a year later
No screws or Butal tape.

The part was fine, but there isn't any hardware included. I tore the entire cap off, figured the replacement would have come with screws. No big deal, just had to run to the local hardware store. As far as shipping, receiving, etc...part was sent out in a timely manner by e-trailer and received it with out any incidents.
Broke upon arrival so had to install anyways, going to still work but upset about it.
