Insert these helper springs in between the individual coil loops in either your front or rear coil springs to defeat driver fatigue and add better support for heavy loads. Most factory front coil suspensions have a difficult time supporting heavy front loads like winches, brush guards and snowplows. The rear coils may struggle with supporting the extra load placed on your rear axle when you're towing a trailer or using a hitch-mounted cargo carrier or bike rack. If your coil springs are totally squished under a load, the lack of shock absorption can be harsh on your backside, especially if you spend long hours sitting in your vehicle while clearing snow or driving to a campsite.

Coil SumoSpring installed between rungs of coil spring

Inside each helper spring, a core of microcellular polyurethane foam adds cushioning between your coils to make your ride more comfortable. Each doughnut-shaped spring has H-shaped channels at the top and bottom that fit to the rung of an individual coil in your front or rear coil springs. The cushioning absorbs shock, but also works progressively to better support weight, keeping your truck level.

Unlike air springs that fit inside your coil springs, these polyurethane springs require no air pressure monitoring, and they are easier to install. Say goodbye to air lines, valves and air tanks and hello to maintenance-free suspension support. Unbumpify your ride with Coil SumoSprings for coil suspensions.

  • Availability of Suspension Enhancement for 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71
Hi Jeff; there are no custom fit options for your 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71. However, you may be able to use Coil SumoSprings like the # CSS-1195 you were looking at. Measure your coil spring gap as seen in the attached photo. Take the measurement with the vehicle as it sits. You do not need to raise it. Once you have this measurement you can add it in the comments below and I can see if there is an option that will fit.

  • Recommended Front And Rear Suspension Enhancement System For 2017 Ford Transit T350 HD
The SumoSpring suspension enhancement setup for the front end of your 2017 Ford Transit T350 is Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front or Rear Axle # CSS-1195. I confirmed with the vendor that this will work for your vehicle. This fits in between the coils of your springs and helps support heavy loads on the front end. This adjusts automatically according to how much weight is added and will reduce body roll on turns and help to level the vehicle. For...

  • Difference Between Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs That Fit 2006 Toyota Sienna
There is no difference between the two. Part # CSS-1195 can be used as either front or rear springs depending on the vehicle, and for your 2006 Toyota Sienna they are for the rear springs and as such are classified as # CSS-1195R.

  • Recommended Front Suspension Enhancement for a 2017 Thor Compass 23TR Motorhome
The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSF-106-47 is only confirmed to fit the 2017 Thor Compass Motorhome 24TX model so for your 23TR I recommend the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1195 instead. These aren't quite the same style, but they still help to support your front suspension. Attached is a review video for you to check out!

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan
Unloaded the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1195 that you referenced won't add any additional height to the vehicle suspension. You get a pair of these when you order this part number which is enough for the the rear axle. This kit isn't designed for a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan though. Instead you'd want the Timbren kit part # TDVRRT which is a confirmed fit and would work well. It also would not add height to the suspension.

  • Suspension Enhancement For a 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser With a Icon Stage 6 Kit
Hey, Anthony! Thanks for your question! I checked out the ICON kit you have and that setup is pretty sweet on the Land Cruiser. Since your main concern is rear sag when the boat’s on the hitch, you’re on the right track looking at a coil insert-style helper. For your 2016 Land Cruiser with the 2.5" ICON lift, the SuperSprings Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1195 would be the correct fit and a solid option. These install inside the rear coils and only engage as the suspension compresses. One...
