Specs:
The Lomax hard tonneau cover provides complete protection for your truck bed and cargo. The tri-fold panels latch to the cover side rails at 10 points for enhanced security. These lightweight, impact-resistant aluminum panels can also be removed in seconds without tools for full bed access. The watertight cover opens with the pull of a cord at the tailgate, and it stores in the folded position at the cab with integrated storage clips and retractable straps.
Tri-Fold Design for Easy Bed Access
The cover has 3 panels that fold up for easy access to two-thirds of your bed.
To open the cover, simply pull one of the release cords on the driver's or passenger's side near the tailgate. Fold the rear and center panels on top of the front panel. There are built-in handles included to make this process easy.
The folded panels secure in place at the cab with integrated storage clips with retractable straps. Vinyl-coated spacers with rubber pads protect the folded panels by keeping them properly spaced. This ensures the cover will stay firmly in place while driving on a bumpy road, and limits metal-on-metal contact to reduce noise and vibration for a quieter ride.
You still have plenty of rear window visibility with your tri-fold tonneau open. You can also haul long or tall items at the tailgate while still covering up cargo such as a toolbox that's stored closer to the bulkhead of the truck.
To access your full truck bed, lift up on the folded cover, and slide it away from the bulkhead of the truck. This will disengage the mounting hooks from the front catches on the side rails and allow you to completely remove the panels from the bed. Unlike many soft or hard covers, there are no hook-and-loop fasteners, snaps, or hardware to struggle with while operating the tonneau.
Sleek, Low-Profile Design
The low-profile cover sits approximately 1/2" above your truck bed rails for an overall streamlined appearance. This aerodynamic design - when paired with a covered truck bed - also reduces wind noise and drag and helps to improve fuel economy. The tonneau features a black diamond mist finish that is impact absorbent, UV protected, and scratch resistant.
Maximum Security
This hard cover is great for protecting your fifth wheel or gooseneck connection. It deters theft far better than soft covers that can be cut open with a knife. There are no exterior latches, so no one can access your truck bed.
The tri-fold panels automatically secure to the side rails at 10 points when closed. This helps to prevent would-be thieves from prying open the cover. These 10 security points consist of 2 hooks that slide into catches at the front of the truck bed, 4 additional hooks that fasten along the aluminum channels, and 4 latches that automatically engage to the side rails when the cover is lowered into the retainment brackets. Your cargo and truck bed are completely secured when the cover is closed and your tailgate is locked.
Heavy-Duty Construction
The 3 heavy-duty panels are constructed of high-caliber aluminum that is 20 percent stronger than aluminum truck body parts. These impact-resistant panels can withstand hail and falling objects.
The tri-fold panels hold up to 400 lbs. of evenly distributed weight, yet they are light enough to be picked up by one or two people. The tonneau cover only weighs approximately 50 lbs. for a high strength-to-weight ratio.
Weathertight Protection
The tonneau cover is designed to seal your bed from the elements to protect your cargo. To prevent water and dirt from entering the truck bed, the cover overlaps the bed rails with continuous watertight rubber seals along the entire length of the side rails. The vinyl-coated panel hinges are also waterproof.
Additionally, the cover has a barely visible arc to route water off the cover in the same way that a road has a slight grade to shed rain away. This water-shedding design - coupled with the other weathertight features - eliminates the need for drain tubes.
Simple, No-Drill Installation
The cover rails mount to the inside lips of the truck bed side rails. Simply place each rail against the lip and secure it in place with 4 Tight Bite clamps. Your stake pockets are not covered up, so they are still free for accessories.
Angle the cover towards the bulkhead of the truck and slide it forward along the side rails until the mounting hooks engage the front catches on the side rails. Lower the cover into the retainment brackets, and unfold the cover. The cover will automatically latch to the side rails as you unfold it.
For additional safety, attach the carabiner on the safety strap to the bracket located between the front and center panels.

Hey everyone, Collin here at eTrailer and today we're going to take a look at Lomax' line of professional series hard tonneau covers. This going to be folding style tonneau cover. It's going to be very strong and durable and protect your truck bed and the cargo in the inside from the elements. Now these covers are going to have a nice diamond plate design to the top of them. It's going to give just a pretty nice rugged look to the cover and add to the style of your vehicle. It's also going to go hide scratches, dents and dings very well.
A lot better than some of covers out there. Not only is this cover going to protect your truck bed from the elements, but it's also going to add to the looks to your truck. You don't see a lot of these diamond plated aluminum covers like this. It's just a nice change of pace from those matte black or glossy black finishes that you see on a lot of other tonneau covers. The cover's gonna have rubberized weatherstripping all along the perimeter and that's just going to help keep out water and other debris. Now unlike a lot of other covers.
This one's going to have in bed side rails, meaning we're not taking up any space on the top of our truck bed side rails, so we still have full access to our stake pockets should we need them. Now because the cover does not open from the outside and you have to open the tailgate to do it, if you have a locking tailgate your going to get great bed security. Nobody will be able to access the cover at any point. To access your cover all you got to do is open up your tailgate and then locate the cord on the underside of your cover. And then you simply just fold back each section. With the cover in this position, we have partial bed access and we can actually travel with it like this by securing our strap right here to make sure it cannot go anywhere.
And we're actually going to have this brace without a nice soft rubber pad on the bottom. That's going to help protect that cover from damaging itself. We're going to have one right there. We're also going to have one towards the back right here and two more on the other side. Now there's going to be 10 different points that are holding our cover in place when it's fully closed and how they actually work is this peg right here is going to sit under this tab.
So you do want to be mindful of when closing the cover to make sure that you engage this peg under the tab and it doesn't get caught sitting on top of it.Now even though the cover is latched in this position. Should those fail at all, we do have these safety carabiners attached to it to make sure the cover stays attached to the rails. Our support braces on the underside of the cover are going to make sure that our cover is very durable. It's going to be able to support 500 pounds of evenly distributed weight, but they're also gonna double as handles to help close and open your cover. Now, like I said, we have in bed side rails, so we're not taking up any space on the top of our side rail caps, but we are going to be sitting in about two inches on the inside of our truck bed. So that's not going to be taking up too much space if you do decide to travel with your side rails on while the cover's removed. The cover's going to have a nice low profile design to it.It only sits about a half inch above our truck bed. We're also going to have this nice rubber strip on the back of the rear panel right here, so when you open up this first panel it's going to elevate a little bit off of that middle panel to make sure that it doesn't sit flat on top of it. We also have a weather seal on the back side of our side rails that are pressed up against the side of our truck bed side rails, which is also going to help keep water out. There's also going to be a weather seal on the back where the tailgate shuts, so when we close our tailgate it's going to activate and sit on top of our tailgate. The side rails are held in place by a series of these aluminum clamps which clamp down on the upper part of the inside of our tonneau cover side rail and on the back side of our truck bed side rail. You do want to make sure that you're clamping these down onto the metal frame of your side rails on the truck bed, not just the plastic caps. Now even though we only have partial bed access with the cover forward in this position we can gain full bed access by moving the cover completely, which is pretty easy to do. All we have to do is remove the safety carabiners and we need to locate this trap that's on the underside of the cover right there. Once we pull that down, we can lift up slightly on that part of the cover and then it just slides right out of it's slot. You can do this by herself if you're standing in the truck bed like I am and it's very easy just to grab and remove. When putting it back in place the easiest way to do that is just to stand it up like so. Just make sure you get your pegs to line up. We're just going to scoot it up all the way to the bulkhead and then lay it down and push it in place. Once we have it pushed in place, just latch it down. Now that's going to do it for our look at Lomax's line of professional series hard tonneau covers.
We really like ths cover. Keeps the camping equipment in our truck secure and looks pretty flasy on our Laramie.
Relatively easy to install, looks great and seems to fit well. Etrailer delivered promptly, had great follow up and I will be ordering from them again! Great employees, I loved the self help videos done by the employees..
The product is excellent! The only problem I had is that the box it was shipped in was very damaged, one side torn open. There was no damage to the product and all parts were there but the shipper did a very poor job patching up the box.
