Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Weigh Safe True Tow Weight Distribution Shank. Now this shank is going to slide into your two-and-a half-inch finch receiver and give you the attachment point for your weight distribution system's head assembly. This is designed for use with Weigh Safe True Tow Hitches with either an 8,500 pound or a 12,500 pound gross towing weight. And let me go ahead and give you some measurements that might prove helpful for you. So let me begin by looking at the overall length measuring end-to-end, as I hope you can see, we're sitting right at 11 inches.

Lining that up just a little bit better there. So about 11 inches long. And then looking at the overall height, right at about 12 inches tall. Now, this does have a maximum gross towing weight of 12,500 pounds. The maximum tongue weight is 1,200 pounds.

The maximum drop in this orientation is going to be eight inches. And then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise of eight-and-a-half inches. And the height adjustment is going to be in increments of one-and-a-quarter inches. The pinhole diameter is five-eighths of an inch, and this is constructed of high strength steel. So this is sturdy, durable, reliable.

And this is directly from Weigh Safe, so you can trust that this is gonna work without any compatibility issues or fitment issues with your True Tow hitches.
