Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this replacement wind strap for your Detail K2 snowplows. Now, this is going to replace the wind strap on your Detail K2 snowplow. And on your screen, I'm putting there what it's going to fit. It's gonna fit the Rampage, the Rampage II, the Storm, the Storm II, the Summit, the Summit II, and then the hitch-mounted plow. So for your easy reference, I included all the model numbers there for you just so you can be confident this is going to be the one that you are going to need.
The durable nylon is not going to make noise like chains or metal cables. A bolt and a washer are included. Now, the maximum load or brake strength is 3,000 pounds and the safe working load limit is 1,500 pounds. And let me go ahead and lay this flat again here for you. Put that into frame.
Give you some measurements here. So looking at the overall length, I hope you can see there, we're sitting right at 29 inches long. And then width, let me bring this up here, about 1-3/4 inches wide. Actually a little bit over, I'm gonna call it about 1-9/16 inches wide, so 1-9/16 inches wide. As for these loops, it's gonna be a little bit hard to put a ruler up to it, but that's gonna measure about 1-3/4 inches on the loop lengths.

I live in AK. I purchased my DK2 plow at Home Depot in Ak. However when I needed a simple 24” winch strap they said they couldn’t ship to AK. I found etrailer on line and found what I needed on their website. Not only was the part slightly cheaper but they shipped to me for under 6 bucks. When I ordered in immediately received a email stating they receiver my order. After the order they sent more emails once it shipped and info on a brief delay due to the manufacturer being currently out of stock for that part. They undated me often. The customer service was fantastic and have saved book marked their website for future services. Thanks.
It just took way too long... I don't need it in summer... Lol
Very easy to put together and mount. For the most part it bolted right on. The electric winch takes a bit of getting used to vs a hydraulic lift (lift action is delayed).
I have a 1/4 mile long gravel hilly driveway and this plow handles it great! I have it mounted to a Ford Explorer AWD and have had no troubles. Durabilty so far has held up very well.
I made a few modifications; upgraded the wheels to a swivel style and replaced the adjustable stand to a motorcycle jack to make rear height adjustment easier for various surfaces.
i got two from rk2 and ordered from etrailer because it looked more heavy duty your pic was orange got same strap from you as dk2 black and same quality paid twice the price of dk2 very disappointed!!!!
The winch Strap fit perfectly and is exactly the same as the original. Shipping was fast even though it was the holiday week ! Price was also lower than anywhere else.

Still working great. No problems
So, the plow has been heavily used and has had to undergo some replacement parts and recently had to see the blacksmith to be re-straightened due to a minor accident and we are so very happy with the quality of it that we believe we have many years of use from it to come. Very happy with our choice and will definitely choose etrailer for any needs in the future.
I've had this plow for over a year and still haven't had the opportunity to use it yet ( No Snow ) , assembly was easy enough for one person, like the wheels on the blade had to drill out the holes a little to get the pins to go in , and the stand in the back had to be cut off to keep it from hitting the back of the bumper and not going all the way down. Other than a few minor modifications seems well built.
Winch strap was shipped the same day I ordered it and arrived via UPS. It is an exact replacement and installation was straightforward. The installation instructions on the etrailer website were helpful.
This winch strap is no good i used the k2 snow plow on my honda ridgeline for about 1/2 hour and the winch strap frayed. Big manufacturer defect. If the strap breaks the blade will come crashing down and might cause damage to the vehicle or serious injury to the driver. The manufacturer didnt think too much on using a nylon strap. The plow is made good but the winch needs an upgrade.
Received part quickly, poor design of product made changing belt difficult. Not the part or trailer the plow motor design.
I like the fact that it's a replacement part and I haven't had to use it yet. So,high quality product

I checked with K2 and they have changed this strap's color to black. We were unaware and will be updating the picture on our site. This strap still has a safe working load limit of 1500 lbs and a maximum load break strength of 3000 lbs. If you need a strap with a higher safe working load please let me know and I will look for options for you.
