I was really surprised but installation was easy. Start to finish took three and a half hours including the removal of the old unit. This replaced a Dometic Penguin ii.

Easy to install except getting up on the trailer. Your install video has very helpful. Install manual talks of switches to set, but my controller had no switches

Loved the air conditioner. It was quieter and took less power than the old one. The only problem was where the temperature sensor was located. I had to cut the wire and remotely mount it.

    Hey Mark, unfortunately there are no Furrion ACs that are going to be compatible with your existing GE setup so you'd need to changeover the entire system. Something like the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR45PV would be perfect! This is a complete system so it'll replace everything you already have, is compatible with ductless and ducted systems, and has a 15k BTU cooling capacity.     I spoke with Furrion and was informed that the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR45PV can pull approximately 3,500 watts for a brief second during start up, which would be right at 29.67 amps. Furrion units do already come with a start capacitor installed in them and we don't currently have a compatible aftermarket start capacitor that's been confirmed to work with these models.
