Can Analog Thermostat for Dometic Duotherm AC Unit Be Replaced

Question:

My A/C unit on my 1998 camper is working properly. The control board in ceiling or relay clicks and m a y shut ac unit off when thermostat is set on cool and auto. I had to run on cool and fan for ac to w ork at. All. Any suggestions other than just replacing the do m etc Analog therm. Control kit?

For your application you'll need to go to a Single Zone kit as the analog thermostats are no longer available, according to my contact at Dometic.

If you can let me know what AC model you have as well as if it has a pre-installed or plug-and-play board then we can see if there is a replacement part.

Otherwise you'll need to replace your whole AC system with something like the Furrion Chill HE Air Conditioner System # FR45PV which is rated for 15,000 Btu and comes with it's own wall thermostat to replace what you have. This also has a start capacitor that store energy and helps reduce the amount of energy required for the startup.
