Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a 24 LED strobe warning light. This light helps you to stay visible while on the road. It's an oval LED recessed strobe light that features 24 bright LEDs in an impact resistant plastic housing. It has 12 to 24 volt power range. It includes a grommet for mounting, as well as a three wire design with the PL-3 plug for installation. It's SAE J595 class two certified, and it features an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, and on the lensing, it does say that it's SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.Now, this is an LED system.
LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, burn brighter, and they're more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. This light contains a clear lens with white LEDs. It's a grommet mount installation.
It requires a six and three quarter inch long by two and a half inch tall hole for the unit to fit in. It's a single flash pattern, so it has one flash pattern. When it comes to the wiring configuration, your white wire's ground has a ring trimmer on it. Black is our sync wire. Strobe lights can be synchronized by connecting the black wire, so if you need to synchronize more than one light, you can do that by connecting the black wires together.
And then your red wire is your positive. That's your power wire.When it comes to the dimensions of the light, take a look at that real quick and then we'll hook it up to power. Just measuring the lens unit, it's about six and a half inches by two and a quarter. Wattage is six watts. Amperage is 0.5 amps.
We'll go ahead and hook it up. Again, white is our ground. Red is our power wire. It's got a single flash pattern on it, so you can't change the flash.I'll turn off the overhead light so you can see it in a low light setting. It's a very bright design. Again, it features 24 LEDs or 24 diodes, so that multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. That's going to do it for today's look at the 24 LED strobe warning light.
