I was pleasantly surprised at how fast I received my hitch in the mail and how easy it was to install

by:

2nd time I have bought a hitch from these guys(gmc terrain) video was awesome had it installed in about 1hr.. Very sturdy and looks great.

by:

Everything lines up perfectly fine. But they sent me the wrong bolts for it so I have to go to the hardware store and get the correct ones.

by:

Hitch receiver was shipped quickly and was very easy to install, fit my Captiva perfectly. Thank you very much.

by:

Perfect fit ,came with all the hardware and I got it in two days

by:

Ordered a frame mounted receiver hitch for my 2009 Saturn Vue. Shipping was fast, product well made, however when it came time to install it the bolts that came with it were the wrong size! Ended up having to go to local hardware store to get the right ones. If not for that I would have gave 5 stars!

by:

The hitch fit well, the bolts provided did not. They were 1/2 inch, the car is drilled and tapped for 7/16, had to make a 30 mile trip to a hardware store, the 6 bolts are $4 each.

by:

ITEM WAS WELL BUILT.AND INSTALLING WAS RELATIVELY EASY.
PRICE OF ITEM WAS VERY REASONABLE. HITCH WLL BE MAINLY USED FOR BICYCLE RACK, STORAGE PLATFORM, AND SCOOTER/MOTORCYCLE RACK.

by:

Execellent product & cheapIt's very easy to install, I only spended 30min.

2008 Ford Flex

You can tell it is a quality made hitch. Thick powder coating, heavy duty (weighs almost 30 lbs, comes with all the necessary hardware, etc). MADE IN THE USA, so you know the welds are not going to crack. One small unfortunate aspect was that due to manufacturing tolerances stack up, it didnt fit my VUE perfectly. I had to slightly oblong (not much) a few of the holes to get all 6 bolts to line up with the weld nuts in the vehicles frame rails. I could tell it was a high grade steel by how difficult it was to drill. In the end, I am still very happy with it and my purchase. Some people say you dont have to drop your exhaust to install it. Perhaps on some other makes/models you dont, but on this one you will need to in order to get it in place and torque all the bolts properly. Dropping the exh on the VUE is easy. 7 rubber grommets and it is down on the ground up to the flex pipes which is enough to move it back and forth out of your way as you work from one side to the other getting things squared away. Took me about 10min to find all the exh hangers coming down, and 2min putting it all back up. I'd also recommend tapping your vehicles weld nuts to ensure the threads are clean and dont damage your new bolts. My needed it. Bolts would not go in without doing so. You will need an M12x1.75 tap to match the threads of the included hardware/frame weld nuts.

No problems with the hitch after one year. This hitch is real quality. It was so easy to install, I let my wife help hold it up while I put the bolts in.

JImmy, do you have any problems with the installation?I read up here that the bolts didnt match and that you need to remove the exhaust in Saturn Vue. I am wondering if that is the case with the Chevy Capriva. Thanks in advance

The hitch is holding up very well, with just a bit of surface rust inside the receiver, to be expected for sure.

  • Installation Bolts for Curt Class III Hitch # 13594 on 2013 Chevy Captiva Seem Too Large
It's not uncommon for the weldnuts to get full of road crud and surface corrosion that would prevent the bolts form starting easily, especially in places that get a lot of snow in the winter. I wouldn't recommend forcing the bolt, because doing so could break off the weldnuts, which would not be good. I'd recommend using a digital caliper to confirm that you received the correct bolts. They should be M12-1/75 X 35mm. What are you using to clean the weldnuts? I like using a wire brush...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2013 Chevy Captiva Sport
For your 2013 Chevy Captiva you would want the Curt Hitch part # 13594 as it has been confirmed as a fit. A hitch from a 2012 Chevy Equinox would not fit this vehicle so I cannot recommend you attempt to install it there. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well. If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or...

  • Will the Curt 13594 Hitch Fit on a 2008 Saturn Vue with Dual Exhaust
I can confirm for you that the Curt # 13594 will fit on your 2008 Saturn Vue with the Dual Exhaust tips. You will need to lower the exhaust to install this hitch on your vehicle, but the exhaust won't get in the way of the hitch once it's installed. I've attached a photo of this particular hitch installed on a similar Saturn Vue with the dual exhaust, as well as an installation video you can use to follow along with when installing it. If you're going to be towing with this hitch you'll...

  • Hitch For 2011 Chevy Captiva Sport
You have kind of an oddball vehicle. It's actually a Saturn Vue, but when Saturn closed down, they rebadged the vehicle for the 2011 model year sold it as a fleet vehicle. From 2011 on, it was an 'actual' Chevy model. My Curt representative tells me that the # 13594 should fit your vehicle, but to be sure, I'd measure the distance between the frame members and the center to center distance of the mounting holes on the inside of the frame, to make sure they conform to the hitch dimensions....

  • What Vehicles Does Curt Class III 13594 Hitch Fit
Thanks for the kind words! The Curt # 13594 is a fit for the 2012-2015 Chevy Captiva Sport and the 2008-2010 Saturn Vue only. For your 2019 Buick Enclave, I'd recommend going with the Curt Class III hitch part # CU29FR as it offers the best ground clearance and is the least visible of the available hitches. If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness # 118761 for a 4 pole or # 118287 for a 7-way trailer connector. Use # C45010 for a ball mount...

  • Recommended Class III Trailer Hitch for 2009 Saturn Vue
I do have a great option for you, however the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98865 that you referenced will not fit your 2009 Saturn Vue. This particular hitch is designed for the Saturn Vue up through the 2007 model year, so it will not line up to the frame rails of your 2009 model. For your vehicle I highly recommend the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # 13594, which features a nice hidden-crosstube design that allows only the 2" receiver to be visible (to maintain a sleek OEM...

  • Looking for a Trunk Mount Bike Rack on a 2008 Saturn Vue
There are a couple different reasons why trunk mounted bike racks are not recommended for your 2008 Saturn Vue. Most second generation Saturn Vues (2008 to 2010) have a small plastic trim piece or a plastic spoiler at the top of the rear hatch. The upper straps of trunk mounted bike racks attach to the top edge of the rear hatch and this plastic trim piece or spoiler is not designed to support the weight of the bike rack and bikes. The plastic could deform or break from the pressure. Another...

  • Compatibility of Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack on a 2008 Saturn Vue
Good news, I can help you figure out if this rack will work with your 2008 Saturn Vue. This bike rack has a 10-1/2 inch clearance from center of the hitch pin hole to the first wheel loop on the rack, which accommodates many vehicles. It also comes with an adapter that will make it work with both sized hitch openings 1-1/4 and 2 inch. The clearance for your vehicle would depend on the hitch you have on your vehicle, and the distance from its center hitch pin hole to the edge of your...

Check your vehicle owner manual. Some of them list a transmission cooler as a requirement, others as a suggestion. If you are in the St. Louis, MO area, we do installations in house at our Wentzville headquarters. • What Trailer Hitch and Cargo Carrier are Available for a 2015 Chevy Captiva?
