Radiator Fans with puller mount for behind-radiator cooling

Built to mount behind the radiator, puller fans draw air through the core where it matters. Measure for depth and shroud clearance, and plan your controls—some setups use on/off switches or thermostatic turn-on, and dual fans may need separate turn-on sources. Results can vary: one quick 10-minute install worked fine, while another vehicle ran hotter with A/C in warm weather.
Measure the space behind the radiator to confirm there's room for the fan and shroud depth. For dual-fan assemblies, plan two turn-on sources—one for each fan—using switches and/or adjustable thermostats with a radiator hose probe. This helps in demanding conditions like very hot summers and multi-row radiators.
The remaining fan will still move air, but total airflow is reduced. Look for the per-fan CFM rating so you know what a single fan can provide on its own. The likelihood of one fan failing is described as very low, but size the system so one fan's output won't leave you short if there's a problem.
Start by checking the fuse and wiring, then look at the controller/thermostat. No indicator lights on the module and fans not responding can point to a controller issue. If an override switch runs the fans but normal control doesn't, focus on the controller and its settings. Verify grounds, power feeds, and any adjustment screws.
It can, but make sure the fan's airflow meets your cooling needs with the A/C condenser load. We've seen a switch to an electric fan lead to temps rising and even overheating in hot weather with A/C on. Compare airflow to your stock setup, use a proper shroud to reduce gaps, and verify the controller brings the fan on when temps climb.
