Since your 2007 charmac snowmobile trailer has 3,500 lb axles the brake assembly set I'd recommend is the self adjusting part # AKEBRK-35-SA which fits and won't ever require adjustment. view full answer...
I pulled up some pictures of your 2001 Floe Versa Max Snowmobile trailer and it looks like the clearance lights are 2-1/2 inch diameter grommet mounted lights like the:
-Optronics LED Clearance Light part # MCL59RB
I wasn't able to verify the size though so you might measure yours to be sure.
We also have 2 inch LED light kits like the part # MCL-55RK but I am pretty sure what you have is larger than that. view full answer...
Since your trailer has almost a 3,000 lb GVWR you'd want a Timbren kit that has the 3,500 lb axle capacity like the part # A35RD545 which has the 5 lug bolt pattern and also has a 4 inch drop which a lot of the snowmobile trailers do well with since a lot of them are lowboy trailers. Or we have the straight axle if you didn't want the drop with the part # A35RS545. view full answer...
We offer a 215/60-8 tire on an 8 x 7 galvanized rim with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern in a load range C with a 935 lb capacity as part # AM3H320 or a load range D with an 1165 lb capacity as part # AM3H325.
Kenda describes the tread as being for all purpose use, which would work just fine for your snowmobile trailer. view full answer...
The 20.5x8.0-10 which is also the size of 205/65-10 would be what I would go with. It's smaller and wider like snowmobile trailers tend to prefer but it's not too small and still has a decent weight capacity like with the part # AM3H490 which is mounted to a 5 lug wheel. view full answer...
We do offer both the ramps and snowmobile kit you're inquiring about, the Mad-Ramps Pivoting Ramp System for ATV/UTV Ramps part # MR54FR and Snowmobile Ramp Kit part # MR69DR which is everything you need to load and secure a snowmobile in your truck bed. view full answer...
The best cover for your American Hauler AWAFX8528 V-nosed snowmobile trailer that measures 28 foot in length would be the Adco Olefin part # AD87ZR which is the correct length, has adjustment straps at the front so that it can fit the v-nose shape of your trailer, provides the best protection, and also installs the easiest. view full answer...
Hello Tom,
We just started carrying for a brand called Caliber Inc that specializes in Snow Mobile trailer parts. I reached out to my contact Tyler there and he said that for your 1998 floe pro 100 plus snowmobile trailer the Caliber Clamp Pro Snowmobile Clamp # CA57AJ will work for you. This comes with a deck hook that can be installed onto a trailer, there are also attachments so the clamp can work with either a T-style tie down channel or a L track system. If you decide to go with the... view full answer...
The clearance light I recommend for your snowmobile trailer is part # MCL57RB. This is a 3 diode 2-1/2 inch round light. It does require a rubber grommet for installation.
The grommet to use for installing this light I recommend is part # A57GB. You may need to take a small round file and open the mounting hole you said measured about 2-5/8 inches but this should work well for your trailer.
To connect the light to your trailer wiring I recommend using the Two Wire Pigtail, part # A46PB.... view full answer...
I believe I found your snowmobile trailer online. It appears that the trailer uses ST145/80R12 load range E tires and wheels with a 5 lug on a 4-1/2 inch bolt circle.
If this tire and wheel bolt pattern information is correct, we do indeed have a compatible wheel/tire combo for you, part # AM31202. This features a load range D radial tire mounted on a galvanized rim so the load range would be a little lower (1,220 lbs at 65 psi) but still capable of handling the weight of your trailer... view full answer...
The correct replacement idler hub for your Yacht Club Aluminum Clam Shell Snowmobile Trailer is the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles part # AKIHUB-545-2-G-2K. These are compatible with 8" wheels. view full answer...
Your owners manual is the best resource to use when determining towing capacities of your vehicle, see section 4. I found a copy of the owners manual for a 2008 Chevrolet Impala and Chevy states that an Impala can tow a trailer, but the gross trailer weight must not exceed 1,000 lbs. Keep in mind, Chevy gives the Impala a maximum towing capacity of 1,000 lbs assuming the driver is the only additional weight in the vehicle. If there will be additional passengers and cargo in the vehicle,... view full answer...
Hey Craig, yes the Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel # AM3H325 would be the best wheel and tire in the size you have currently of 215/60-8. It has the highest Load Range and also a galvanized wheel that will work great to prevent corrosion.
To end up with a radial you'd need to go to the larger tire size of ST145/R12 like the part # AM31202. This would raise the height of the trailer about 1.5 inches which I know snowmobile trailers like to be as low as possible. view full answer...
Since you have a ribbed roof a better option would be a vent mounted to the side of the trailer walls like the part # HMAV2-AVT2. This will give you additional ventilation and won't require you to deal with trying to seal a vent to your ribbed roof. I attached a review video for this vent for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Thanks for all of the info you listed on your snowmobile trailer. Based on that I can tell the correct replacement hub would be the part # 8-91-05UC1-EZ and then for a wheel and tire that has your current tire size and bolt pattern you would want the part # AM30040 and you'd be set. view full answer...
From previous customers who have the same Floe Pro 100 trailer we have determined that the correct replacement hub would be for a 2k axle like with the part # AKIHUB-545-2-1K which is pre-greased. view full answer...
To equip your snowmobile trailer with a basic lighting setup, you would need amber front side marker lights and red rear side marker lights.
A basic trailer would require a minimum of two each, with the front lights as far forward as possible and the rear lights as far back as possible.
The # TLK36RK trailer light kit includes the required amber front marker lights , but you could also add matching red clearance lights # A91RB with chrome bases # A91CB.
I would also recommend using... view full answer...
I can definitely help determine if a Mad Ramp system is right for you, but I will need some information from you first. What type of ATV or snowmobile do you intend to transport? What vehicle will you be using to transport this item? Once I have this information, I will better able to help you. view full answer...
Curt safety cables # C80176 would do fairly well for applications subjected to salt spray since the cables are coated in nylon and the hooks are zinc-coated. They wouldn't be as good as 100% stainless steel, if anyone made any, but they also cost a fraction of the price stainless would! view full answer...
We offer several different LED lights that you could use inside your snowmobile trailer.
One of the lights I recommend is the Thinline Opti-Brite LED Interior Strip Light, part # ILL72CB. This light measures 21-7/8 inches long, 1-inch wide, and 5/8-inch thick for a low profile. It has 27 LED diodes to provide a lot of light for your trailer interior. This is a 2-wire design. one wire for the power and one wire for ground.
I have attached a link to our product page for the LED interior... view full answer...
