The Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 has a circuit breaker to help isolate that circuit from issues, but it will not prevent back-feeding. If you want to prevent back-feeding which isn't typically an issue, you can use the Roadmaster Single Park Light Diode # RM-690. Because you are sharing power between two batteries at a low amperage there is very little risk of a surge issue. Another option is to use the Battery Isolation Solenoid # PK5231201 which... view full answer...
It would not be good to install the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 without the included circuit breaker. The circuit breaker is what would cut the current if something were to happen. view full answer...
Curt recommends the stabilizer strap with non-supported loads like bike racks to help support the hitch when going over bumps to prevent some of the vertical shock from being transferred to the hitch.
Curt does this as a precaution, it's not that Draw Tite or Hidden Hitch are stronger. Both hitch brands make outstanding hitches that are typically stronger than what they are rated for. I would say that Curt just happens to approach the idea of a bike rack/cargo carrier being used in a lower... view full answer...
The Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater - Cartridge Style - 120V - 400 Watts # KH11812 can be left in the "RF" port of your 2012 Hyundai Elantra GL 1.8L engine block but you should only run the block heater for a couple of hours before you plan on cranking the engine. I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2012 Hyundai Elantra and it looks like the only thing stated is that it can be towed with the front wheels off of the ground. If you are looking for more specifics than that it would be best if you contact your local Hyundai dealer.
If you don't already have a tow dolly then I highly recommend the Demco Kar Kaddy SS # DM9713045 for a few reasons; it has tilting/folding ramps and a folding tongue to make it easier to store (whether at... view full answer...

The LED Light Kit for Post-Style Boat Guide-Ons, # CE27656A, will wire into the running light circuit of your boat trailer for power. They do have ground wires and will need to be grounded to a clean, corrosion free bare metal surface. Or if possible you can attach the grounds to the main trailer connector ground which is likely not going to be submerged on a boat trailer. view full answer...
