  • Solution for RV Step with Bad Gear Box with Part Number 151320
  • The Lippert part number # LC372261 is the part number for an entire replacement step assembly. The problem is that if you have the 151320 gear box that means that your current step is old enough that there aren't replacement parts for it and you'd need a new assembly which the # LC372261 is the closest replacement.

  • How to Determine Leaf Spring Hanger Placement on a Single Axle Trailer
  • Generally speaking, on a single axle trailer you will want the leaf spring hangers to be spaced apart 1/2" less than the eye to eye measurement of your leaf spring. Therefore, you will want to place the hanger 25-1/2" apart on center when using the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring part # e77SR with the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit part # APS4. • What will the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch for a 2011 Mustang GT Look Like When Installed
  • At this time we do not have a photo available of the Curt Hitch, # C11210, on a 2011 Mustang GT, but we do have a photo, see attached, of the hitch on a Shelby Convertible that should give you an idea of the look. The receiver portion of the hitch will be visible when installed. The rear fascia will conceal everything except the receiver. The Curt Hitch, # C11210, will require the use of some type of stabilization strap, like part # 18050, for carrying any non-trailer loads. If using...

  • Are Diodes Required to Separate Brake Lights from Turn Signals Using Converter 118158 on Trailer
  • That is exactly what converter # 118158 was designed for. You will not have to use diodes, although you could if you wanted and it wouldn't hurt anything, because there is only one input circuit for each of the wires. The red output wire would go to the brake light wire on each tail light. Yellow would go to left turn signal and green would go to right turn signal.

  • Trailer Wiring Harness and Installation for a 2006 Ford Mustang GT
  • If you are trying to install lights like # STL8RB to your 2006 Ford Mustang the problem could be that the car has separate turn signal and brake lights while trailer lights have a combined turn signal and brake light circuit. On light # STL8RB, the white wire is ground, the green wire is stop and turn lights, and the brown wire is running lights. If you need to add trailer wiring to the car so that it can tow a trailer, you will need to use # 18252. I have included a link to the instructions...

  • Does Draw Tite Hitch for 2017 Ford Mustang Require Rear Fascia Trimming
  • I checked the install instructions for the Draw Tite hitch part # 24928 that you referenced that fits your 2017 Ford Mustang and it does not require trimming of the lower rear fascia. I attached a picture of the hitch installed below it too. Hitch installs are pretty basic for mechanics. I would just find a local mechanic to you with a good reputation and let them do it.

  • Are Stabilizing Straps Required For Carrying Bike Racks With a Curt Hitch # C11312
  • You will need to use stabilizing straps when you are using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11312 to carry a bike rack or cargo carrier on your 2009 Ford Mustang. This is required by Curt as an extra safety precaution and is needed to maintain their warranty. As long as the bike rack and bikes do not exceed the tongue capacity of this hitch and you use a stabilizer strap like # 18050, you would have no problem installing a bike rack into this hitch. I attached installation instructions...

  • Ford Mustang 2010 Convertible Tow Ready T-One Connector
  • The Tow Ready T-1 Connector # 118487 requires a connection to the battery in order to function properly. The T-1 receives the signals from its attachment behind the tail lights, but the voltage to power the trailer lighting is sourced directly from the battery. This is done to protect the circuitry in the vehicle wiring system. Drawing the power from a different 12-volt source can damage the electrical system in the event of a short circuit in the trailer wiring. I have ran the power wire...

  • Is Drilling Required To Install Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch On 2006 Ford Mustang?
  • That is correct. To install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24747 you were looking at on to your 2006 Ford Mustang you will just need to enlarge the hole in the passenger side exhaust hanger. This makes it so that the hanger can be reinstalled after the hitch is in place. There is no drilling required in the actual frame of the vehicle. I went ahead and included a link to a video of showing the # 24747 being installed on a 2006 Ford Mustang for you to take a look at.

  • Is Drilling Required to Install Curt Trailer Hitch C11312 on a 2005 Ford Mustang
  • For Curt trailer hitch # C11312 for your 2005 Ford Mustang you might have to enlarge an access hole which you could do with a drill. But no new holes will need to be drilled. And you may not have to enlarge the access hole either. If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch. Curt also...
