Thanks for the picture Jim! Yes, you'll definitely need to remove that 7-way and reinstall it. The Curt Hitch item # C14011 is custom fit for a 2000 Ford Excursion and it does not have any pre-drilled holes or slots to attach the 7-way.

The Rubber Hollow Bulb Seal # CS68VR you mentioned may work, but we do not have any specs or information on the OEM Ford seal, so this is not something I would be able to compare or confirm. Based on the pictures I found online, they do look quite similar. The # CS68VR is intended for an RV slide out. Your best bet will be to compare the side profile and dimensions to your seal and see if you can find a match.

The Shocker Hitch # SHK47VR would be a solid option for you. It has plenty of capacity for your trailer giving you room to pack it up and not have to worry. I am not sure what size ball you need for that trailer but the # SHK47VR uses a 2-5/16 ball with a 2" rise/drop on it as well. You will have to let me know if you need more of a rise or drop so I can see if there is a better option out there for you. Hey Gregg! Nobody makes an adapter, so the best option is to cut off the existing connector and rewire a new one like you said. The Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV Blade-Style Trailer Socket # PK12-707E is a good choice, they make a lot of the OEM stuff. The CIPA custom towing mirrors for your 2002 Ford Excursion were actually discontinued in 2023. As of now (09/2025), we still have two of the passenger side mirrors # 11902 in our warehouse and that is why they are still showing on our website. We sold the last driver side mirror 11901 (which is the part number for the driver side) back in March of 2023, but you may be able to find one out there in the ether.

Hey Stephen, I would go with the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System part # RVS-778718N for your 2004 Ford Excursion. This puts a camera on the license plate bracket (no drilling) and then has it's display on the rear view mirror. The direct replacement for your Coleman Mach 48209 0650 would be the Coleman Mach 38209 0650 Mach S 15 Power Saver, but sadly, we don’t carry that unit. With RV air conditioners transitioning to R32 refrigerant, the newer systems also use different components and controls, so I wouldn’t recommend buying one of the new rooftop units expecting it to plug right into your older Coleman Mach Quiet setup.
