Question:
I need to replace the weather stripping for the lift gate on my 2003 Ford Excursion and the OEM Part 2C7Z-78404A06-AA has been discontinued. I have been searching junk yards and the internet for something that might work. Might you have something that would work or be able to refer me on? Thank you so much. I thought that this might fit? Hello Susan, thanks for reaching out. The Rubber Hollow Bulb Seal # CS68VR you mentioned may work, but we do not have any specs or information on the OEM Ford seal, so this is not something I would be able to compare or confirm. Based on the pictures I found online, they do look quite similar. The # CS68VR is intended for an RV slide out. Your best bet will be to compare the side profile and dimensions to your seal and see if you can find a match.
The # CS68VR seal is 15' long x 1-5/16" wide x 1" tall. You can see the side profile below. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
