I recommend using a direct receiver type of tow bar over a ball mount tow bar when flat towing. You can experiene a lot of rattling with a ball mount style tow bar # RM-501 and would have to have the ball mount tow bar exactly level. With a receiver hitch style tow bar you'll have three inches of give either higher or lower from level, as you can see in the attached picture. With the receiver style tow bars, like the # RM-522 I recommended before for your 2002 Saturn, you can install the... view full answer...
Thank you for your photo Jim. It does look like the inner arms of your Falcon 5250 got bent somehow. I contacted Roadmaster and there are not replacement inner arms available for the Falcon 5250 anymore or a repair kit because it's an older bar.
I recommend to replace the tow bar with a non-binding tow bar Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain part # RM-422 which will allow you to hook up and unhook on unlevel ground without the arms binding like the Falcon 5250 did. The freedom latch on... view full answer...

I may have a solution for you, however we do not currently have a 3,500 pound standard trailer axle that matches the dimensions for the model that you referenced.
I recommend looking into an Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System like the Timbren # ASR3500S06. This system will provide a smooth, quiet, safe ride and can eliminate the need for an axle. This will provide a 3,500 pound weight capacity along with a 4 inch lift to provide greater ground clearance. The EZ Lube spindles will accept... view full answer...
I contacted the manufacturer to find out the load range for this product, part # RM-910022. It is specified for a 2000 pound snap rating.
Please note that cable connectors of this type are designed and rated specifically for a horizontal line pull application (but not for hoisting or lifting). The capacities quoted by manufacturers are for this type of application only.
I suggest you consider Hidden Hitch part # C82932, which also comes as a set of two. These half-inch Quick Links have... view full answer...
To flat tow your 2002 Saturn S Series behind your Jayco RV you'll need a tow bar, base plate, tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables. I have the following recommendations for you below:
Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522. the non-binding design allows you to release your vehicle at any time, anywhere on even or unlevel ground and large hookup radius makes connecting a breeze at any angle, even if your vehicle isn't perfectly lined up with... view full answer...
I have included a link to the instructions for trailer hitch # C11181 for you to view. On a 2002 Saturn SL sedan there are 7 steps which you will see in the instructions, and I have listed here:
1a.) If vehicle is equipped with tie-down brackets and/or existing weldnuts, remove the brackets from inboard side of the frame rail by removing three M12 bolts, each side. Return tie-down brackets and bolts to vehicle owner for reinstallation if hitch is removed.
1b.) If vehicle is not equipped... view full answer...

First, while you might not be able to find a digital copy of the manual you can find paper copies out there. One thing you might try is to find someone near you selling the same car and go look at their manual for the flat towing procedures.
From what I could find you can flat tow your 2001 Saturn SC1. It is not recommended to tow it over 65 miles per hour. Additional information is available once you locate an owner's manual.

To use the Roadmaster base plate to Blue Ox/Demco tow bar adapter, # RM-033, you will need to install Roadmaster base plates like # 162-2. Then, to make the arms of the base plates removable, you will also need quick disconnects # RM-201.
If you have a Blue Ox Adventurer, Acclaim, Ambassador, Aventa, Aladdin, Alpha or Allure tow bar, you could just use Blue Ox base plates, # BX3310, and not worry about an adapter.
With the base plates and tow bar out of the way you will also need safety... view full answer...

For your 1997 Saturn SL sedan I recommend Roadmaster base plates # 52181-1. These base plates have removable arms so you won't have fixed arms sticking out in front of the car all the time.
For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Falcon 2 # RM-520. This is a motor home mount tow bar rated up to 6,000 pounds. I have included a link to a video review of this tow bar for you.
If you wanted something more budget friendly but with less features you could use the Tracker tow bar # RM-020 with... view full answer...
You will need to get a completely new tow bar if you're wanting to install a custom base plate kit on your 2002 Saturn SC2. The Curt Tow Bar # C19745 that you have is designed to be connected to your vehicle using the universal brackets that come with the tow bar and the tow bar isn't compatible with anything else.
I recommend going with the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 52181-1 and pairing it with the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501 which connects to the motorhome using a coupler... view full answer...
The benefit to going with a longer crossbar on a roof rack is that you get more room for roof mounted accessories. The longer crossbars can sometimes mean that you will need to watch your head getting into and out of your vehicle though. Also, you don't want the bars extending beyond the mirrors.
The recommended Yakima Roof Rack for your 2012 Ford E-350 consists of 66 inch crossbars # Y00410 and Gutter Feet part # Y00101. For 78 inch crossbars to use instead you would want the # Y00411.

The 2001 Saturn SL1 uses turn signals that are separate from the brake lights. There are to ways you can wire the vehicle. First, you can wire it so that when connected to the motor home, the turn signals and brake lights will be combined. Or, you can wire it to retain the separate functions. The second method requires a few more parts.
For either method, you will start with Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, # RM-154. A wiring diagram is included after the description on... view full answer...
The most economically-priced base plate that is compatible with your Saturn SC-1 would be the Roadmaster # 154-1. The Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar you mentioned would be the most affordable option. However, never forget that you get what you pay for. Other higher-priced Base Plate and Tow Bar options would be easier and more convenient to use. For instance, the Roadmaster Falcon 2 towbar, part # RM-520 is telescoping, which means that the dinghy does not need to be perfectly aligned behind... view full answer...
The best recommendation I can make for you would be to get a load range E tire like the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1HP56. This will fit your rim and will have the highest load rating we offer in that size.
We do not have have taller tire that would fit your rim, but the # AM1HP56 should work very well for you. I attached a couple FAQ articles you might find informative also. view full answer...
Both Blue Ox and Roadmaster make base plates for your vehicle that feature removable base plates. On your particular vehicle, the Blue Ox # BX3310 would be easier to install and the draw bars are easier to remove.
The Blue Ox Alpha tow bar, part # BX7380 would be a good choice for a tow bar, and it includes the safety cables. The towbar features automatically locking arms that allow you to attach the tow bar to the base plates even when the vehicle isn't perfectly lined up behind the motorhome.
