I cannot find anyone who makes a hub similar to the # 8-201-51UC3 which has a threaded cap. We do have the Kodiak XL ProLube Kit # XLPROLUBE2440KIT which will fit these hubs so you can run oil in your hubs. Hey Alethea! I'm sorry to say the Curt # C11522 does not fit the PHEV models of the 2018 Countryman. What you need instead is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7387. The EcoHitch design allows it to be installed on standard and hybrid models like yours.

Right now there are no confirmed fits yet for a 1-1/4 inch hitch on the 2025 Mini Countryman from Curt or Stealth. What we do have confirmed is a 2 inch option with the Stealth hitch part # SH77VR, which has been tested to fit the 2025 and 2026 Countryman S and Iconic models. So that is a solid option you can move forward with right now.

Hello Linzy, thanks for reaching out. The base plate I recommend for the 2012 Mini Cooper is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1307. This will fit all models except for the JCW model.
We do have installers in your area as well. I recommend checking with Race Ready Auto Repair in Port Charlotte, or with Horners Auto Repair in Punta Gorda. Both locations have experience with base plate installs.

According to the manufacturer, Mini Coopers should absolutely not be flat towed. That said, we have found that as long as it is a manual transmission, it should be good to flat tow. You will void your transmission warranty by doing so. If it already has a base plate installed, I would assume that it has already been towed and you should be good to go.

This is only designed to work with hitch mounted accessories (bike rack, cargo carrier, etc.) and would not be rated for towing.
