When will the curt or stealth hitch 1.25 be available for 2025 mini countryman

Hi Viveca, great question.

Right now there are no confirmed fits yet for a 1-1/4 inch hitch on the 2025 Mini Countryman from Curt or Stealth. What we do have confirmed is a 2 inch option with the Stealth hitch part # SH77VR, which has been tested to fit the 2025 and 2026 Countryman S and Iconic models. So that is a solid option you can move forward with right now.

At this time I have not seen a 2 inch confirmed fit released from Curt yet for the 2025 Countryman, so availability there is still up in the air.

The Stealth hitch is a really nice match for your Mini because of the hidden crosstube which helps preserve your ground clearance and avoids that bulky look on a smaller vehicle. This setup is intended for accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers rather than towing so keep that in mind.

@VivecaR Viveca, that makes total sense and you’ve got a good plan waiting if you want to stick with a true 1-1/4 inch setup. If you decide to move forward with the 2 inch Stealth hitch, you can still use your current bike rack by adding a reducer sleeve like part # C49WQ. What’s nice about this one is it’s designed so it doesn’t cut the hitch capacity in half like a lot of other reducers do. This reducer will allow you to use your current bike rack in the 2" hitch. What bike rack do you have?
