For a trailer hitch for your 2017 Mazda 6 the Curt Hitch # C11356 is a confirmed fit and a great choice.
The only tool you'll need to provide is a 3/4 inch wrench and you'll be set. I am not sure where you are, but typically we recommend finding a local mechanic with a solid reputation for hitch installs. I attached an install video for this down below for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Trailer tires are only rated to go 65 miles per hour unless indicated. Trailer tires are built with a thicker sidewall, to handle vertical loads, that get hot enough to fail when you exceed 65 miles per hour. view full answer...
Yes. The RockyMounts WestSlope # RKY10222 is compatible with a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver like the Curt # C11356 you've got on your 2018 Mazda 6. Since the WestSlope doesn't come with any locks included you may consider adding them with the Cable Lock and Hitch Lock for RockyMounts WestSlope Bike Racks # RKY10224 to provide some added security. view full answer...
Hello Richard,
Yes, you can most definitely put the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 on the wheel trays of the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting # C18085. The lights are held on by the adhesive on the back, so you can really just stick them onto anything. Just make sure you put the lights on the right sides or you might have some really confused drivers behind you.
I also attached an image where you can see the wires are nice and neat... view full answer...
If you are wanting to use your 2" bike rack you will want to install the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7301 on your 2016 Mazda 6. Both the Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter # e43YR which will fit the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11356 and Hitch Adapter # HTAD reduce the capacity of the receiver by 50%. This will reduce the tongue weight from 200lbs to 100lbs by using the adapter and will likely push your bike rack with any bikes over the 100lb limit. By using the EcoHitch... view full answer...
The EcoHitch part # 306-X7301 for your 2017 Mazda 6 is an interesting hitch based on it's size and classification. It's a 2 inch hitch which typically means Class III hitch or higher but this is considered to be a Class I based on it's lower capacity which is 2,000 lb total trailer weight and 300 lb tongue weight.
So your Swagman Current # S64678 is going to fit but you'd have to be very cautious not to exceed the weight capacity. view full answer...
One of the things to consider when transporting 4 bikes on your 2016 Mazda 6 is the tongue capacity rating of your vehicle. This is usually found in your owner's manual.
If you discover that the combined weight of 2 adult bikes and 2 kid bikes will not exceed the tongue rating of the vehicle, it is important to see if the combined weight of the bikes will be safe to transport with the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7301. With that particular hitch, you... view full answer...

The Camco Olympian Wave 6 Catalytic Safety Heater for Mid-Sized RVs # CAM57341 is not designed to run off of unregulated propane. It needs LP gas which is regulated to 11 inches of water column. So you would need a regulator like the part # CAM57703 that you also referenced. view full answer...
Trailer tires do not have to be balanced due to the fact that you won't be able to feel the imbalance in the vehicle. Every tire and every wheel has a high (heavy) spot and a low (light) spot. When the manufacturers mount the tires on the wheels, they try to offset the tire high spot and the wheel high spot to provide some balance.
You can take them to a tire shop and have them balanced if you want them to be balanced, but they do not need to be balanced to be used on your trailer. Many... view full answer...
Your best solution is going to be using a 2 inch hitch that fits your 2014 Mazda 6 like the EcoHitch part # 306-X7301 and not use an adapter. Adapters do reduce capacity like you mentioned, they create added movement that's hard to reduce, and they also typically reduce ground clearance due to the added length. They are an okay temporary solution but if this is a permanent solution I'd recommend the 2 inch hitch or a new bike rack to fit a 1-1/4 inch hitch directly. view full answer...
We do stock repair kits for Fulton, Bulldog and other brands of trailer couplers. For example, for the Bulldog 43805W series couplers we offer repair kit # F660801. The best way to identify the correct repair kit is with the coupler's part number, which will be stamped on it. You can also enter the phrase Fulton (or Bulldog) Coupler Repair Kit into our search box to see all kits, and then find the one that fits your series of coupler. view full answer...
The Class I hitch available for your 2016 Mazda 6, the Curt # C11356 has a receiver tube that is open at the back.
Some hitches have a stop punched or welded into it that prevent hitch accessories meant for a Class II hitch from being slid into the receiver tube far enough for the hitch pin holes in the receiver tube and the shank of the accessory to line up. This purposely done as a safety measure.
The Curt # C11356 hitch doesn't have the stop, so your bike rack will work. Keep in mind... view full answer...
I have a solution for you.
First, though, you need to know that Rhino-Rack does not make just replacement keys. They are sold with their lock cores.
To get your 062 key, you will need the Rhino-Rack Masterkey Lock Barrels, part # RRRK062-2. I suggest keeping the lock cores as they can be used as replacements if they ever need replacing. view full answer...
You should be able to just pop out the two rubber plugs in the trunk pan of your 2007 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon, using a flat head screwdriver or trim removal tool. The Curt model # C11329 does not require you to lower your exhaust to complete the installation, as the entire hitch assembly runs along the center of the vehicle, between the exhaust.
Once you have popped out the two plugs, move straight back from these holes, staying in the center of the vehicle. Once you reach the inner bumper... view full answer...

You can tow your 2016 Mazda 6. Unfortunately, it cannot be flat towed. You will have to use a tow dolly. My tow-dolly recommendation is the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes - Foldable - 4,800 lbs, part # DM9713045. It has a surge coupler, so you will not need to buy a separate brake controller. It comes with the safety chains and a 4-way flat connector. You will need a 4-way flat connector on your motorhome. If you do not have one you will need one installed. You can install... view full answer...
I have a great setup for your 2021 Mazda 6. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C11356. This is a custom fit hitch receiver that bolts directly to your vehicle and requires no welding. It is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" capable of towing up to 2,000 lbs and has a 200 lbs tongue weight.
