The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118812 which is a fit for a 2019 Hyundai Tucson does require a wire to be run to the vehicle's battery for power. The reason for this is because the vehicle's tail light circuits are not rated high enough for the additional amp draw of the trailer lights. To access the wires that supply power to the taillights at the rear of the 2011 Hyundai Tuscon, you will need to remove two Phillips head screws that hold the taillight assemblies in place, see photo link.
