Question:
Can I put a trailer hitch on my leased 2018 Hyundai Tucson? Or does that have to be done by them?

I'd first check the lease agreement to see if there's anything on hitch installs. There are no permanent modifications needed to be done on your vehicle to install a hitch like the Draw Tite part # 75836 which fits for your 2018 Hyundai Tucson so you'd most likely be able to just take it off before returning it and they'd not know it was ever there. I attached an install video for the hitch for you to check out too.
