Those are good questions, and the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA25 will not replace the factory springs on your 2019 Ford F-450, they work in tandem along with your springs, which will not be removed.
These are absolutely going to improve your ride because they can be customized for your application whether that means you have a constant heavy load and need constant support or simply want to get a more balanced suspension if you tow or have a heavy... view full answer...
Your photo shows the 7-way trailer wiring setup that we call the RV format. The photo I linked shows an actual trailer plug # A10-7W6 like yours and the circuit arrangement is the same as your photo diagram. For reference, the included article covers all wiring formats in detail.
The item you referenced, replacement OEM wiring harness # 118242, is configured in the same way. view full answer...
There are two hitch pin holes on the shank of the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount part # 325-GH-524 to allow for compatibility with different receivers. Trucks typically use the one closest to the vertical portion and SUVs typically use the one furthest from the vertical portion. If both work for you, use the one closest to the vertical portion of the ball mount as this will place more of the shank inside the receiver offering more support.
The two hitch pin holes on the first stacked receiver... view full answer...
There are a couple of options which you can choose from which will allow you to pull a 5th wheel trailer with your 2008 Ford F-350, which I'll go over for you.
The best option by far is the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 because it gives you the security of a fifth wheel hitch with a strong jaw system while simply fitting on the gooseneck ball of the Curt EZr. It is both simple to use and strong, with a 21,000 lb towing capacity.
I strongly recommend... view full answer...
The capacities listed are specified for the way you use the trailer hitch, part # C31083.
If you are using the hitch for a trailer the capacity is 5,000-lbs due to the stress vertically as well as the stress of pulling a trailer.
The 9000-lb straight line pull rating is listed for winch use with the trailer hitch. In the instructions on page 4 the maximum line pull rating is achieved by using a winch with the winch lines at a certain angle. I have attached the diagrams included with... view full answer...
An exhaust tip that re-directs the exhaust gasses downward can indeed help protect items carried on a cargo carrier from excess heat. Using a carrier like # 63153 that has an angled shank to raise the carrier further away from the exhaust pipes also helps.
If you click the provided link, you can see the various tips we have available. To choose the correct tip, you'll need to measure the outside diameter of your exhaust pipe. Most of the tips are weld-on applications, so you'd need to... view full answer...
Barrecrafters was discontinued, as their line was not brought over when SportRack was acquired by Thule (Barrecrafters was under the SportRack brand). So for that reason, there unfortunately isn't an available lock core or keys that are available for your ski rack. The best option we can offer is a new ski rack, and there is a nice option for this from Rhino-Rack:
- Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Locking - 4 Pairs of Skis or 2 Boards # RR574
I really like the Rhino-Rack ski rack... view full answer...
The psi should be listed on the sidewall of the tire. It is recommended that tires always be inflated to the max psi. The max psi of the tire will depend on the tire's load range, not the weight of the trailer.
For instance, we carry 5.30-12 tires in load ranges B, C, and D. The maximum psi is 55 for one of our load range B tires, 80 for a load range C, and 105 for a load range D. However, different tire manufacturers may have different psi ratings even for the same tire size and load... view full answer...
The key temperatures to monitor when towing are the transmission fluid, engine oil and coolant temperatures. Each of these fluids will have different ranges that you will want to stay within.
For transmission fluid, the ideal operating temperature is between 160 and 200 degrees. If you find that you are running over 200 degrees, I would recommend installing a supplemental transmission cooler, like part # D13504, if you do not already have one. I also recommend using the Ford radiator... view full answer...
Currently the only hitch I know of that uses rails different than the ISR Industry Standard Rails is the Demco Hijacker # DM8550032. This uses a different type of Underbed Rail and Installation Kit # DM8551000 that only has 4 holes that the hitch will drop into and lock onto.
While it is possible to have another type of system that may have been discontinued you can send me pictures and measurements of what you do have and I can use that information to determine if there is anything else... view full answer...
At the 5psi minimum recommended by Firestone, installing their # F2582 Ride-Rite kit will not change your existing ride height, as long as your suspension isn't worn and is in good working order. If the suspension is worn, it could slightly raise the ride height.
Also, you might need a lift spacer depending on how much lift has been added. If the lift is less than 1-1/2 inches, you won't need a lift spacer, according to Firestone. If the lift is greater than 1-1/2 inches, you will need... view full answer...
The Connector Kit for DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank # DZ97960 that you referenced does have a gravity feed to transfer diesel fuel from your auxiliary tank to your OEM tank but there is no automatic shutoff. All your calculations are right on. The truth is that most people do overload their trucks, because adding more and more options to be able to achieve a higher towing capacity can get pretty costly, pretty quickly.
I took a look at the Ford Trailer Towing Guide that you mentioned. It indeed states that your 2019 F-250 Diesel, crew cab, 4x4 160 in WB and 6-3/4 ft box and 3.31 axle ratio, is limited to a gross trailer weight rating (GTWR) of 14,100 lbs. That is only as long as your fully... view full answer...

You ask a very interesting question!
You are correct that it is technically possible to have both a surge coupler and an EOH actuator connected simultaneously to the same hydraulic braking setup. You are also 100% correct that any manufacturer's risk management team would probably say no.
As I see it, the main concern is the lockout on the surge coupler. If you had an electric lockout on the coupler and if for any reason that solenoid or its power connection failed you would have both... view full answer...

The factory jounce bumpers will not be reinstalled when installing the Air Lift # AL57344 on a 2012 F-53 Newmar Baystar. So there really is no need to save the factory jounce. Sometimes if there is a bolt holding the factory jounce on you will want to keep the bolt. The only reason to keep the factory jounce would be if you ever needed to remove the air bags for some reason. view full answer...
