I had our warehouse measure the thread pitch of the Swagman Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # S64027 you were looking at and it has a 5/8" x 11 thread pitch.
We do have the Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock for etrailer Cargo Carriers # e99047 which has the M16x2.0 thread pitch you were looking for. If you can tell me what you are looking to use the pin in I may have other options for you as well.
I included a video of the # e99047 for you to take a look at. view full answer...
Hey Kiefer, the Curt hitch does not fit the Interceptor models of the 2013 Ford Taurus but we do have the Draw Tite hitch part # 75670 that does fit. view full answer...
Yes, it can Allen. The 2015 Ford Taurus with Ecoboost and an automatic transmission can be flat towed if you can leave your car in neutral with the engine off but the ignition in ACC mode can unlock the steering wheel.
You'll want to do the following procedures to verify your 2015 Taurus can be flat towed:
1: Check the Owner's Manual: Always consult your specific owner's manual to confirm your vehicle is flat-towable and to find the official, detailed procedure for your year and model.

Hi Roscoe, thanks for reaching out. Yes, there is an aftermarket option for your 2023 Kia Niro that can be installed without any permanent modifications. You can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C36ZV. This harness plugs in behind the tail lights using custom-fit connectors, so there is no cutting or splicing required.
It does require running a power wire to the battery, but once installed, it can be removed later without leaving any permanent changes to the vehicle. It’s... view full answer...
The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2643 is designed to pretty much fit all models of the 2011 Ford Taurus so you'll be good to use it with your specific model.
If you haven't already picked out all of your other flat towing components then I have the following recommendations:
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates # e47ZR. This tow bar will connect to your baseplate and comes with safety cables included so you won't have to purchase them separately.

I spoke with my contact at Curt and verified that the T-Connector Wiring Harness, # C55327, will not fit a 1992 Ford Taurus Wagon. The wagon models have different rear tail light assemblies from the sedan models and there are no connector style wiring harnesses that are compatible with the wagon models.
To install a trailer connector on the wagon models, you will need a 4-pole hardwire kit like part # 18252. This kit includes 4 quick splice connectors to connect the wires from the trailer... view full answer...
You can go to a torsion axle and different tires and wheels if you so choose. You have to consider what you are trying to accomplish by doing so to determine if it is worth the expense or not. Normally I would say you could change to a different tire size if there is clearance to do so but Harbor Freight trailers tend to have odd bearings and if changing the hubs is required to go to a larger size tire and wheel you may not be able to without changing the axle any way.
If you do change... view full answer...
Hey James. We no longer have the Replacement Remote for Brake Buddy Select Flat Tow Brake Systems due their parent company First Brands going through bankruptcy. I recommend searching for one online because we do not expect to get more in.
Here's the manufacturer's part number and description for it:

Hello Shane,
I have the perfect hitch for your 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor Sedan the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75670. It didn't show up on the fitguide with the other ones because it is currently on a back order, looks like we won't be able to get to you til around the end of June, not sure if that wait time will work for you or not.
If you need some wiring for some light towing or a hitch mounted accessory, you will want the T-One... view full answer...
Hey Don,
The Hopkins Tail Light Converter # HM48895 is unfortunately for wagon models and not a fit for your sedan. You would instead need the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM40575. view full answer...
I do see it is safe to flat tow your 2019 Ford Taurus AWD as long as you do not exceed 65 mph and start the engine and allow it to run for five minutes at the beginning of each day and every six hours thereafter. You will need the Blue Ox Base Plate # BX2643 and the Tow Bar # BX7380 for connecting to it. Then we have the Diode Kit # BX8848, Electrical Cord # BX88206 and Braking System # HM39524 to take care of the electrical and braking.
You may need a Hitch Adapter # BLU28XR to keep... view full answer...
Hello William,

Hi Edward,
Without a part number I wouldn't be able to verify, as there aren't Reese trailer hitches (or haven't been for many years), but there is one made by the same company, the Draw-Tite 36252, that fits both the 1995 and 2002 Ford Taurus wagon.
If that's not what you have though, you can still get a hitch that fits your 2002 Ford Taurus wagon (as well as the '95), the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12232. view full answer...
The best option we have would be a universal adjustable width trailer hitch, the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13704. These are designed for applications in which custom trailer hitch fit options are not available. The width can be adjusted to fit any frame between 22" and 66" wide. view full answer...
For the fish wire, we have the Curt Fish Wire Bolt Leader # C58400 which will work great for your 1/2-13 carriage bolts.
However, as far as a spacer block is concerned for your Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # C13379, you're going to need to use # RHK to order a new set of hardware which will include the spacer block you need, as it is not offered separately. view full answer...
While there is a trailer wiring harness that you can use for your 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor, I checked with Curt directly and the part # C56093 is not a fit for the vehicle. Instead, what you will need is a hardwire harness, part # C59236.
If you also need a trailer hitch receiver for your 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor, use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - 2" # 75670. view full answer...
Generally, you don't need additional lighting when using a tow dolly that already has lights. However, it's not a bad idea to check with the local laws in the states you'll be traveling in and in Canada.
Some people like to add additional lights just to make it easier to see the vehicle that's on the dolly. If you wish to add lights, you'll need to splice in a tow light kit, like # PE26UR, because the trailer connector on the back of your RV will already be in use with the dolly. Unless... view full answer...
Resistors aren't generally required when converting a trailer to LED lights because there isn't the need to increase the amperage load like when doing the same conversion on a vehicle.
On a vehicle when you go from incandescent to LED you have to install the resistors so that the thermal flasher unit of the vehicle senses the correct amount of amperage draw to operate properly. There isn't a flasher unit on the trailer side of the wiring so the resistors aren't needed. The turn signal... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12296 does not fit the Police Interceptor model of the 2013 Ford Taurus. So that's not the hitch you want.
However, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75670 will. If you also need trailer wiring to tow a trailer use # 118599. This will give you a 4-way connector. I've linked videos of both being installed.
The Draw-Tite # 76034 will fit the 2016 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor. I've linked a video of one we did here. The wiring you'll need is # 118540. view full answer...
I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions for the Curt hitch part # C13379 and it shows that the hitch height is right inline with the height of the exhaust. You can see also that if there was any exhaust height difference it's minimal too. view full answer...
